The Samaritan Foundation has been experiencing a challenging time of late with the recent death of their President Dave Melnick. Since his sudden death last year, there has been a noticeable slow down on their housing projects in the Sosua area. Without a replacement for Dave, land agreements and infrastructure construction have been stalled. In addition, Jean Melnick left her position as Director of Teams with The Samaritan Foundation as of June. With these changes, Canadians Care Partnership Ministries has chosen to put our plans for a trip to the Dominican Republic in 2025 on hold. We will keep you updated with any future developments.
